Installation Policy

1.Installation Services

Trizenith offers assembly and installation services for selected products purchased directly from us. Installation services may be complimentary during promotional periods or charged separately depending on the product, location, and service requirements. Specific pricing and eligibility are as stated in the Order Confirmation.

2.Service Coverage

Installation services may include assembly and placement of: bed frames, dining tables, dining chairs, sofas, office desks, ergonomic chairs, cabinets and storage units. The specific scope varies by product type and the service purchased, as set out in the Order Confirmation. Where not otherwise specified in the Order Confirmation, the exclusions in clause 6 apply.

3.Customer Responsibilities

Prior to delivery and installation, the customer is responsible for ensuring: the installation site has adequate access; doorways, corridors, stairs, lifts and room dimensions have been accurately measured; the installation area is safe, clear and free of obstructions; and any existing furniture or items are removed in advance where required.

Customers should confirm that purchased products can pass through all access points and reach the intended location. Any additional costs or delays arising from inaccurate measurements or information provided by the customer are the customer's responsibility.

4.Access Conditions

Additional charges may apply where circumstances include: stair carries; restricted access or special handling requirements; additional labour; special equipment; or waiting time caused by site conditions. Additional charges will be calculated in accordance with Trizenith's current service rates and communicated to the customer in writing (including by email or SMS) before the service is carried out. Where installation cannot be safely carried out, we reserve the right to decline or postpone the service without liability.

5.Product Inspection

Our installation personnel may inspect products before installation. Where visible manufacturing defects, transit damage, missing parts or other safety concerns are identified, installation may be paused until the issue has been assessed and resolved.

Where the pause is due to a manufacturing defect or transit damage, the cost of a follow-up installation visit is borne by Trizenith. Where installation cannot proceed due to the customer's circumstances (e.g. non-compliant site conditions), rescheduling may incur an additional call-out fee. We will generally aim to resolve the issue within 14 business days, although the actual timeframe may vary depending on the nature of the issue, parts availability (including where replacement parts must be sourced from an overseas supplier), and service scheduling.

6.Exclusions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, installation services do not include: wall fixing or anti-tilt fixing; drilling into walls, ceilings, floors or tiles; electrical work; plumbing work; structural building modifications; or removal or disposal of existing furniture.

7.Packaging Materials & Inspection

Our installation team will give the customer a reasonable opportunity to inspect the product's appearance and function before clearing general packaging materials. Where the customer identifies damage, missing parts, or other issues during inspection, the relevant packaging should be retained until the issue has been documented or a preliminary assessment has been completed. Otherwise, standard installation services generally include removal of general packaging generated during installation; some larger packaging materials may be left on site where required for product protection, warranty purposes, or local waste disposal requirements.

8. Completion of Installation

Following installation, customers should inspect the product promptly and raise any concerns before the installation team leaves. Visible installation-related property damage should preferably be reported before the installation team leaves, or within 48 hours of completion. A delay in reporting may affect Trizenith's ability to investigate and confirm the cause of any damage, but does not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Rescheduling and Cancellations

If you need to change your delivery or installation appointment, please provide reasonable advance notice. Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be treated as a late reschedule.

Additional charges may apply for: late rescheduling (within 24 hours of the appointment); inability to access the site upon arrival; or installation that cannot be completed due to site conditions. These charges (including, without limitation, call-out fees and waiting time charges) will be calculated in accordance with Trizenith's current service rates and confirmed in writing before being applied.

10. Limitation of Liability & Remedies

Trizenith will take reasonable care in delivering and installing your products, but is not responsible for: pre-existing property damage; structural building defects; damage or issues arising from inaccurate measurements or information provided by the customer; issues arising where a product cannot pass through access points despite customer-confirmed measurements; or normal wear and tear following installation.

Where Trizenith is responsible for loss or damage caused by an installation service, we will provide an appropriate remedy based on the circumstances and applicable law, which may include re-performing the service, repairing the damage, reimbursing reasonable repair costs, or any other remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Operational Damage & Insurance

Trizenith holds public liability insurance which covers property damage caused by our installation team's operational errors while providing installation services. Where a customer believes the installation team has caused property damage, the customer must: report the damage in writing before the installation team leaves, or within 48 hours of completion; provide photographic evidence and a written description of the damage; and give Trizenith a reasonable opportunity to inspect and assess the damage before any repairs are carried out.

Where damage is reported after 48 hours, or where a customer arranges repairs without first notifying Trizenith for inspection, this may affect our ability to investigate the cause of the damage and process any insurance claim, but does not affect any rights the customer has that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Promotional Installation Services

Trizenith may periodically run complimentary installation promotions. Specific eligibility, service areas, minimum spend requirements and installation scope may vary between promotions. Promotional terms are published during the relevant campaign and apply only to orders confirmed during that period. Promotional benefits attached to a confirmed order are not affected by subsequent changes to promotional terms. Terms for future promotions may be adjusted without prior notice.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
